About
The HALO Foundation was founded in 2011 by Cami Marseilles shortly after her 17-month-old son Kai began to show autistic-like symptoms. Shortly after noticing Kai's symptoms, her youngest son Koa also showed signs. Cami became determined to educate families about appropriate therapy options and to help lower-income families afford otherwise unattainable treatments.
Cami Marseilles is no stranger to education. She obtained a Master's degree in Dance from CSULB and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Arizona. She has taught for over 24 years at high schools, including Palos Verde Peninsula, Corona Del Mar High School, and Back Bay High School in California. She is a professional dancer and choreographer that has numerous awards and recognitions.
Cami currently teaches Dance, Yoga and is the ASB Director at Back Bay High School. Cami also found a love for Yoga when her sons were diagnosed and have completed her 200-hour power yoga certification, 200-hour hot yoga certification, barre certification, and yoga sculpt certification. She teaches at studios such as Core Power Yoga, Peak State Yoga, and more. She has had the pleasure of leading many yoga retreats for people to unique places such as Costa Rica.
Cami’s goal as an Educator is to make every student at any age seen, heard, and loved.
